Dingeman’s Scholastic Bookfair – Under the Sea!
In recent years, Dingeman has sold $37,968.12 in books through Book Fairs. We have been successful in putting approximately 7,593 books into kids’ hands!!!!  Last year alone, we raised almost $10,000 in scholastic dollars, money that goes directly back into our classroom and school libraries.  Our book fair raises money only for books.  This year, Family night welcomed over 100 families to watch our honor choir perform and enjoy Mrs. Morioka and Mrs. Grobosky’s classroom’s dance performance.  Thank you to Rita’s for providing their tasty treats to all who attended.  What a fantastic night! Many thanks to the volunteers who ... read full article

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Drops of rain and dark skies didn’t dampen the spirit of Mrs. Hagan’s 3rd grade class, or Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Grobosky’s 4th graders who joined hundreds of students from Knox Middle School and six other elementary and high schools to ensure that Dr. King’s dream lives on. Knox Middle School did a wonderful job planning this event which has taken place for 38 years!!!  Dignitaries from the District, State Assembly and City Council spoke to the children along with Knox Principle Mr. Garry Rollins. We were entertained with cheers, ROTC demonstrations, band performances and skits by children who brought ... read full article
